The Performers

Lindsay Waddington is the owner and producer of Kross Kut Records, one of the leading country music recording studios in Queensland. He resides on the Gold Coast and has been 6 times named Queensland Musician Of The Year.

An exceptional lead guitarist, Waddo heads the Lindsay Waddington Showband, and in 2007 he became Melissa's musical director.

A stand-out performer in his own right, Waddo has expanded his performances to include a vocal repertoire, as well as the familiar touch of comedy interspersed with his trade-mark guitar playing.

Donnie Soper continues his success in the spotlight. Born and bred in the Hunter Valley area of NSW, Donnie is a theatre director, professional actor, musician, songwriter, and a genuine showman.

Donnie's music is a mixture of country flavours, and when he takes to the stage his presence captivates the audience and transforms their world for a moment in time.

In 2011 Donnie was signed to the Drover Music label, and his debut album 'Fly Like A Bird' was recorded by renowned producer Steve Newton in Tamworth.

Lloyd Back is a singer/songwriter from Kingaroy, a rural area of Queensland that has become a hub for Australian country music.

Lloyd's songs draw on both his own and other people's life experiences. He writes songs that move people - to tap their toes , to enter into the story, to laugh and sometimes to cry.

An easy listening performer, Lloyd's songs connect with a wide range of people from many differing walks of life.

Tony Wagner hails from Brisbane and is a dual instrumentalist in the Lindsay Waddington Show Band. He plays piano style keys and pedal steel.

Tony has had an extensive career in Country Music as both a performer and a studio session musician, and he tours regularly from the east coast of Australia all the way across to the west. He has also been awarded the title of 'Male Vocalist' in the Christchurch Country Music Awards in New Zealand.

Kingsley Day is another dual instrumentalist in the Lindsay Waddington Showband. He plays twin keyboards simultaneously, one bass and one melody. Originally from Katanning in Western Australia, Kingsley now calls Sydney home.

As well as being a respected studio musician, Kingsley was named the Boyup Brook Musician Of The Year in 2006, and he's toured extensively with the Brian Letton Show. He regularly entertains audiences with his spontaneous personality and trademark musical ability.

Trevor Letton lives in Australia's country music capital Tamworth, and is now the drummer in the Lindsay Waddington Showband.

An accomplished studio musician who has played on many of Melissa's recordings, Trevor is a well respected member of the Australian country music industry.

As well as a drummer Trevor is also an adept sound technician and bass player, and the gentle nature of his personality is encapsulated in his stage presence.
