Lindsay Waddington is the owner and producer of Kross Kut
Records, one of the leading country music recording
studios in Queensland. He resides on the Gold Coast and has
been 6 times named Queensland Musician Of The Year.
An exceptional lead guitarist, Waddo heads the Lindsay
Waddington Showband, and in 2007 he became Melissa's
musical director.
A stand-out performer in his own right, Waddo has
expanded his performances to include a vocal repertoire,
as well as the familiar touch of comedy interspersed
with his trade-mark guitar playing. |
|
Bob Easter is a prolific balladeer who was born
and bred in the Hunter Valley area of NSW. With
several albums to his credit, he holds the distinction
of being Drover Music's inaugural recording artist.
Along with Melissa and label co-artist Graham Rodger, in
2003 Bob was a major contributor to the popular duets
album Drovin' All Over.
Legend of country music Lindsay Butler is quoted as
having stated "Bob's country is pure bush ballad and no
one does the songs of Slim, Coster, Lawson and Co better
than he." |

Lloyd Back is a singer/songwriter from Kingaroy,
a rural area of Queensland that has become a hub for
Australian country music.
Lloyd's songs draw on both his own and other people's
life experiences. He writes songs that move people - to
tap their toes , to enter into the story, to laugh and
sometimes to cry.
An easy listening performer, Lloyd's songs connect with
a wide range of people from many differing walks of
life. |

Neil Buttsworth hails from the NSW coastal town
of Port Macquarie, and he has twice been a nominee for
Male Vocalist Of the Year in the NSW Gold Medallion
Awards.
Bass player for the Lindsay Waddington Showband as well
as a favourite performer in his own right, Neil has
spent over 30 years in the industry performing with many
of Australian Country's greats. He has been likened by
his peers to a fine bottle of wine, he just keeps
getting better as every year passes.
The songs Neil performs are wide and varied, but his
signature series are those from American legend Buck
Owens, performed in Neil's own unique style. |

Brett Fenech, drummer for the Lindsay Waddington
Showband, also hails from the Port Macquarie region of
NSW.
In his early career Brett spent a lot of time drumming
in a rock band, but in later years he found his passion
lay in the more relaxed environment of country music.
An absolute pleasure to listen to, Brett's drumming
complements the performers, rather than competing with
them as may sometimes otherwise happen. |

Grant Hart lives in Perth, having been raised on
the land in rural Western Australia; and he is the
Keyboard player for the Lindsay Waddington Showband.
Adept also with Piano, Saxophone, Harp (harmonica) and
both Lead and Rhythm Guitars; Grant embodies the true
definition of a multi-instrumentalist.
If you can hear a Grand Piano or the woodwind section of
an orchestra, a soft cello or a collection of violins;
look towards Grant and you'll see his hands moving
respondently across his keyboard. |
